Chapter 4 Growing up

I decided to change cycles into years …. i think it is better .
At first i thought cycles would more logically since it is another world , however years is pretty much the same ….. years on the new world .

After 3 years .
Now i am 6 years old , however my body looked like a 12 year old kid in my previous world . Normal kids would be in their puberty , i am not an exception .
However if we add my experience together then i would be past the age of puberty so i am able to control my body to a certain extence .
That was a good thing … since looking at my age group everybody would just do one thing .
A Facepalm .
Why ? Just look at them ! 6 year old kids trying to impress the other gender ! Normally it would be cute . I mean really cute .
BUT ! They are literally behaving like monkeys ! Fighting over the attention of the girls and showing of their mighty strength .
Well … it was the same in my old world . However the level of monkeyness in this world is unbelieveable high !
I believed i would be able to charm these kids . However i wasn’t strong . I didn’t even borke past skin layer ! Even if i tried harder than anyone else ! Every single day training .
Sunny day , training . Rainy day , training . Windy day , training .
One would be amazed how i trained everyday and still didn’t reach anything !
The other kids only trained once every 3-4 days and still got higher than me ! Some even entered the qi stage . The Adults were pretty happy and praised us as the genius generation .
Even my brothers were quite extraordinary . My Big Brother entered the qi stage too , which was normal for his age . Huo got to the qi stage too . Shui was only at the peak blood stage .
Tian was quite lazy and „only“ got to the bone layer .
I was the untalented guy who was still at the skin layer .
Certainly i would be the sacrifice to please the other gender , however they didn’t bullied me anymore after one time since i didn’t reacted and ignored them .
But they never would believe that i swore upon revenge ! It is a petty action , however if a group of kids gang upon you and ridiculate you because you are not talented everyone would be mad !
Such i am sitting in one corner and doing my stances . Not only that , i got the information that past the skin , meat , bone , organ and blood layer one would be able to reach the qi stage . The qi stage allow people to interregate with one suited beast . The beast should be with their element , so i should search for a pure fire beast .
Now i unterstand why my parents were concerned . The village is in a forest and how do you find a strong firebeast in the forest ?
Although i receive less and less attention because i am weak it is not a problem .
…. to say it in other words my parents care about me less and less . At first it was ok , they eat with me and talked to me sometimes . But now they only give me food and didn’t even let me eat with them , because they need to pay attention to huo and shui . They treated them like kings . Tian and eldest brother always got compared to huo or shui .
At first i didn’t believe it and testet it . I stayed for the training ground for days . I didn’t even came back to say hello .
It was boring days . I only ate with the food they put in my room and trained .
After some weeks i believed they would miss me and looked at my family .
Nothing . Not even the slightes sad emotion . They even laughed like a happy family .
Thus i spent most of my time alone , walking around the village to look at my neighbourhood . It was a pretty village , woodhouses everywhere and a wooden wall around the whole village .
As i stumbled upon the gate , the guard an old uncle didn’t let me through because i was too young and he probably knew that i am only at the skin layer .
One day i saw another child wandering around . It was a skinny boy which got bullied instead of me , because he cried and wringled in pain when they kicked him .
He saw me and slowly walked towards me .
“ Guys like us will never get attention of parents . They hate us because we are burdens . “
I couldn’t reply for some time .
“ They didn’t hurt and yell at us so why ? “ i replied , because what he said stunned me .
“ It is natural , because the village don’t allow it . Once it was normal to get beaten by the parents , however there was a kid who ascended to be very powerful and tortured the parents cruely . Because no one want to be the next one they ignore us and only give us food . “
I would never forget how he looked at me , his eyes full of hatred . Then he walked by .
Nothing came in my mind for few moments . Afterwards i walked towards a water pound and looked at me .
What i saw was a black haired chubby with brown eyes . Certainly i wasn’t handsome .
But …. what i saw in my eyes ….
were the same hate i looked upon a few moments ago .

After 3 years .
I am now 9 years old and i looked like a healthy teenager , compared to my previous world i would be at the age where the love would blossom (16-17) .
My cultivation is still at the skin layer , i had no idear why i stuck at this stage . I never had a breakthrough even with harsh training .
Thus i dropped training and looked around the whole day . Nobody cared about me anyway .
The guy who talked to me 3 years ago died . The adults say that he died because he run into the forest . However i don’t believed them . Even if he is weak like me , he was still stronger like me . He accepted the fact that no one cared about him .
Probably i lived in another world i couldn’t believe it that parents would forsake their children if they were weak .
As i slept under a huge tree , it was really a tree even if the buildings of new york city would look like little plants against it , a loud scream woke me up .
It was a huge eagle , on it were some strangers with black cloacks and hoodies .
I stood up and looked at them . Nothing came up in my mind , it was in awe .
The eagle looked majestic and beautiful , however it emited a dangerous aura .
It landed and the people on the back jumped down .
Sweat poured out of my body . My god ! Now i could see true body of the eagle . It was huge , nothing compared to the tree though .
However what frightened me was how they jumped down like it was nothing . The heigh was about 100m and it is probably more ! A normal human would be meat paste if they jumped down !
I slowly walked towards them , it was the scene of some fantasy movie so how couldn’t i ?
The path was wild track , such it was hard for me to walk . It may not seem like so however wood and gras was pretty hard for me since i am only at the skin layer .
After some while i could see the strangers meeting up with someone . It was only my though since one person didn’t wear a black cloak .
I laughed inwardly , perhaps the stranger came to murder and rob the village ? Then i would be safe since i would run far away from them .
Slowly i walked towards the strangers , they were pretty far away so i wanted to see who the person without black cloack was .
I chosed a location under a bush to hide since it would give me free view to the group .
They talked and the strangers gave a little packed to the person . He seemed extremely happy and bowed to them few times .
It is elder wu ! As i could see the person it was elder wu ! I thought that he sold out the village for the packet .
Suddenly one of the strangers looked at me . Wait … looked at me ?
He took something out of his cloack and ….
my mind told me to run , however it was too late .
He threw it and i got hit .
Am i dead ?
